This anthology continues the work of the Edelbra publishing house that began with the 2008 book Saw it in the newspaper aimed at publishing a selection of Moacyr Scliar’s columns in the newspaper Folha de S. Paulo written between 2008 and 2010. In them, the author revealed the whimsical side of real life, creating stories inspired by reports in the newspaper news. This book gathers together 25 of these columns, selected by Regina Zilberman, in which the author manages to transform everyday facts into light and humorous literature. From the discovery of the vuvuzela as a musical instrument to the kissing patrol, from judo champions to Facebook games, nothing escaped his attentive gaze.
